People often prefer gift baskets to single gifts. They can convey your feelings more clearly than a single item can. A single flower for instance can tell your partner that you love her/him very much, but if you put one white rose in a bunch of eleven red ones, you can easily convey how very especial the person is without having to say anything. However, if that is your idea, you need to choose the baskets very carefully.
You can buy a romantic gift basket from the market only. They are available on online shops too. However, if you put your mind to it, you can actually create one yourself. For a romantic evening together, you can put aromatic candles along with a bottle of finest wine and some fine orchids in a cute little basket and have them sent beforehand to her address so that she knows what to expect. Now, if you add good quality luxurious bubble bath to it, it will convey a different message. As I said, gift baskets can convey messages more strongly than a single gift or even words can.
If you want to be more casual, just put different types of glues and tapes in a basket; write on a beautiful card ‘We Are Stuck’ or similar message and put that too in the basket. You can also add two dolls or teddies stuck together. Most of all do not forget to add some flowers as well. Whatever romantic message you want to convey, it will remain half said without them.
Of course, there is always an exception if there is a rule. Get a red basket shaped like an apple. Apple baskets are also available in the market. Get one and put red paper in it. Add some fig leaves that Adam and Eve wore once they ate the fruit of knowledge. Now put in different types of apple products along with some fresh apples and you have your own Garden of Eden. Flowers are superfluous here.
Of course, a basket full of different types of chocolate will melt anybody’s heart. However, if the person is on diet, she may be furious instead. Therefore, before you buy any gift for your loved one, give some thought to his or her likes and dislikes. That is the only sensible thing to do.
