“I never knew a love
A love that could be sweeter
No matter what my mind says
Your music gives me fever….”
Love is an insect that doesn’t spare anybody of its bite irrespective of the age and times. Scientists have already proved that the love is an emotion that can appear many times in a life time of an individual, irrespective of the age of the person. Talking about teenagers, the body experiences many prominent hormonal changes during this age. These hormonal changes make them experience love, infatuation or simply lust. But, due to lack of knowledge they often end up confused, heartbroken and make repetitive mistakes in future relationship. Read on to know the basic difference between love, lust and infatuation.
Infatuation is mere attraction for a particular person, be it a girl or a boy. The infatuation can be due to some external beauty of the person, such as height, weight, complexion or other trivial matters like the way the person talks, intelligence, smartness etc. This infatuation or attraction wears out eventually with time. This attraction lasts only till the time the person is in front of you. You may get attracted or infatuated with more than one person at a time and each of them feels equally attractive.
The lust is purely physical attraction between two people. Talking to the person or seeing the person makes you feel sexually charged and you start desiring the person. The person may pass a sweet smile to you and this may melt your knees. This feeling also lasts momentarily. The teenagers often get smitten with lust due to the hormonal changes going on inside their body.
Love is none of the above feelings. Love is friendship, love is trust, love is loyalty and love is happiness. Love doesn’t call for sex, though when you have it nothing can feel better. Love makes you feel genuinely happy. Love forces your memories to revolve around the person 24 hours a day, no matter whether you are in front of the person or not. Love makes you care for the person. It keeps the needs of the person above the needs of you. You are ready to compromise to any extend merely to make the person happy. You both compromise for each other. You both trust each other and want to spend your whole life with the person in question.
“Love is worship, love is god”, as believed and said by all lovers since ages. So, now when you know so much about love and lust, why fear falling in love? Come and join the hands in the world of love and get completely lost in its charm.
