Know How to Read His Body Language

Different people react to situations differently, but most intentions can be known by decoding the body language. Body language is easy to understand and if you want to learn how to read his body language, all you need to know are the basics. Learn what signals he is sending across through the various body parts and you will be pretty well acquainted with exactly what he feels and thinks about you.

The Eyes

• Direct eye contact – When someone makes direct eye contact, it means he is very confident and is enjoying your company. However, if he looks down at the floor a lot, it means he is shy. If he looks across the room a number of times, it may mean that he is uncomfortable and fears being seen with you.
• Brows – The brows are also a giveaway. Whether a person frowns, looks amazed or is happy, everything can be understood by glancing at his eyebrows. So keep an eye on those brows and you’ll be able to understand what he is thinking.
  

The Head

• Tilting – A tilting head can show sympathy. However, if the head is tilted with a smile, it may even mean that he is trying to be flirty.
• Cocked – If you are just learning how to read his body language, you’ll probably need to know that when a man cocks his head, it means two things – either he is confused or he is challenging you. Decode this by having a quick mental analysis of the present conversation.

The Arms

• Crossed – If the arms are crossed, the man may be trying to hide something, which may be tummy fat or a stain on the shirt! It may also mean that he has an authoritarian attitude and he doesn’t like socializing much.
• Back of the head – If his arms are behind his head or neck, it means the guy is quite extroverted and enjoys long conversations and is open to new ideas from others.

The Feet

• Crossed at the ankle – If his feet are crossed at the ankle, it mostly means that he is comfortable and at ease with you.
• Tapping – Playing footsie is a very common way to show interest and to flirt. So if he is tapping your feet with his under the table, you’ll know for sure that he is very interested in you.
