As the same itself suggests, a mini love letter is obviously much smaller in length than a normal, full-fledged love letter. So, of course fewer words are chosen and the general idea would be that it would take less time to compose. Wrong. Often it takes the greatest of efforts to compose one small two-sentence note than write a full page. The simplest and the shortest of notes can convey the greatest of emotions and they become treasures to be cherished for a lifetime as they touch the chord in your beloved’s heart.

• A mini love letter or a love letter does not have the need to be written on special occasions. Just a simple “I love you”, written on a small piece of paper and hidden under her pillow is all that is needed to make her smile. Or a “I’ll miss you, Sweetheart” hidden in her purse as she leaves for office is sure to make her miss you all day. If you feel like writing more and are unable to find the proper words, then choose to write a well-quoted couplet written by some famous author.
• However, one thing has to be kept in mind regarding this and that is never try to pass off the quote as written by you, for she will always know, especially if she has an idea of your writing skills. This is still not permissible if you think that she will not be able to figure out because the lines have been written by some obscure poet, or that you have picked it up from one of the innumerable love sites on the internet which she will never be able to trace. Because such an action lacks the very essence of a relationship, that is honesty. You may feel good when she praises the copied note, but are bound to feel wretched after a point of time. On the other hand, your grammatical errors will be of little consequence if the emotions you convey are true and honest.
• The medium in which you choose to write the note also goes a long way to create that cozy mood of intimate love. You can write the note on a small piece of notepaper, but try using a pencil instead of a pen, to give that touch of playfulness. Or you could write in a corner of her handkerchief. It is best to avoid writing on purchased blank cards, because although they look pretty, they are bought which lends a tone of artificiality to the whole thing. Try to keep it personal and simple and the effort that you put is bound to capture her attention and your small note of love will make her love you more than any other thing in the world.
